Arivanantham s/o Krishnan graduated with LLB (Hons) from the National University of Singapore in 1990.  He was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in April 1991.

He is also a Commissioner for Oaths and a Notary Public.  He commenced work as a legal assistant in 1991 and joined the litigation department of Messrs Chor Pee & Company in 1993.  He was made a partner of Chor Pee & Partners in January 1997.  He is presently involved in commercial litigation, corporate work, debt collection and other areas of work for various institutional clients.

He has developed a reputation amongst institutional clients in debt collection work.  He is also experienced in corporate work relating to shareholders agreements, joint-venture agreements, sale and purchase of companies and various aspects of general corporate work.  His range of work covers almost all aspects of civil litigation work.

He has a broad base of clientele which includes airlines, freight forwarders, technology solutions providers, hotels, and manpower and staffing companies, amongst others.  He is able to work proactively to establish a close working relationship with clients which adapts to the working systems of the individual clients.  He has been involved in a number of landmark decisions which are reported both in the press and the law reports.
